school sucks.today, i had a sudden yearning to go read all the books i've never ever read.school sucks.
i dropped my textbooks and raced up the stairs.
i never knew how weak my knees were, quickly degrading under the weight of my excitement.
i scoured my book shelves high and low, pushed the childish stuffed animals off the sides, and uncovered the paperbacks blanketed in dust.
i sneezed and sneezed and sneezed as i brought them back to my bed.
pulled back the curtains and jumped on the mattress, settled down comfortably and opened the covers.

things i can't say.i can't seem to recall the sound of your voice,things i can't say.
and that is a little unsettling to me.
i'm not known for my impressive memory
but this is one of those little things that i
usually seem to register with others.
honestly, i wish i could be honest, but
sometimes even i'm talking in a language
that deviates from what i mean to say.
my ego works up pretentious phrases
and abstract/witty things to say, and they
are nothing but an invitation for
conversation that i cannot initiate.

Seems that the neighborhood cat was a good hunter and an even better eater.
